Engagement scope

What the growth engagement includes, and how fees are agreed

We agree the scope in writing first. Fees follow the work, and there is no public price list because stock, markets and team differ for every brand.

What is inside a scope

Inside the scope is what we write down: the products and marketplaces covered, the reports and models we produce, the meetings, the decisions we own and the decisions that stay with you. Each item has a named owner on both sides, so nothing depends on memory.

The scope also names the cadence. A monthly review, a quarterly plan or a weekly working session each has a fixed slot and a fixed set of outputs, so the time commitment is visible before you agree.

What sits outside

Outside the scope are tasks such as product sourcing, manufacturing, paid media production, customs and freight booking, legal disputes and work on marketplaces that are not listed in the scope. We can add them as separate pieces of work with their own scope and fee.

We will not quietly widen the scope. If a request falls outside what was agreed, we name it, estimate the effort and ask whether you want it added.

How fees are agreed

After the growth review we send a written proposal with the scope, the reporting format, the approval rules, the start and notice terms, and the fee. You approve it in writing before work begins. Third-party costs, such as software you choose to add, are shown separately before they are incurred.

The proposal shows how the fee is built from the scope, so you can compare it with other options on like-for-like terms.

Questions about scope and fees

Why no public price list?

Stock depth, the number of markets and the level of support change the work a great deal. A published list would either overcharge simple brands or underprice complex ones.

Is there a minimum term?

Notice and minimum terms are written into each proposal. We explain them on the growth review before you decide.

Can we start with only the growth review?

Yes. Many brands start there. You receive the written review and model, whether or not you go on to a longer scope.

What if the scope changes midway?

A change is written down, its effect on the plan is shown, and the fee for the change is quoted before it starts.
